504 Letter

My mom had to get a 504 letter from my doctor so that I could have extended time and frequent breaks during my AP test for school.  (This allows me to leave the test if I need to get sick and then return to finish the test without being penalized.)  We received the letter in the mail today, and we found out that I can't have the Lupron shot I was supposed to get in order to control the endometriosis.  The insurance denied the request because of my age.  My insurance says the doctor must prove that my "epiphyseal plates are closed" before they will cover this drug.

I am relieved that I am not getting the shots because I am scared about the side effects.  

Now I really want to have the surgery to get it out of me.
